2. Collection and storage of personal data

2.1. General information on data processing

(1) In the following, we provide information about the collection of personal data when using our website. Personal data is all data that can be related to you personally, e.g. name, address, e-mail addresses, user behavior.
(2) When you contact us by email or via a contact form or social media, the data you provide (your email address, possibly your name and telephone number) will be stored by us in order to answer your questions. The legal basis for processing the data is our legitimate interest in responding to your request in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR. If your contact is aimed at concluding a contract, the additional legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. b GDPR.
We delete the data collected in this context after storage is no longer necessary, in particular after the inquiry has been processed, or restrict processing if there are statutory retention obligations.
(3)If we use contracted service providers for individual functions of our offer or would like to use your data for advertising purposes, we will inform you in detail below about the respective processes. We will also state the specified criteria for the storage period.
 
2.2. Data processing when visiting our website
 
(1) When using the website for information purposes only, i.e. if you do not register or otherwise provide us with information, we only log the personal data that your browser transmits to our server. If you wish to view our website, we collect the following data, which is technically necessary for us to display our website to you and to ensure stability and security (legal basis is Art. 6 para. 1 s.1 lit. f GDPR):

(2) The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. In the case of the collection of data for the provision of the website, this is the case when the respective session has ended.
If the data is stored in log files, this is the case after seven days at the latest. Storage beyond this period is possible. In this case, the IP addresses of the users are deleted or anonymized so that it is no longer possible to identify the accessing client.
 
2.3 Contacting us
 
If you contact us, your data (name, contact details, if provided by you) and your message will be processed exclusively for the purpose of processing and handling your request. This data is processed by us on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. b GDPR or Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. f GDPR to process your request. Your data will be deleted after final processing of your request; this is the case if it can be inferred from the circumstances that the matter in question has been conclusively clarified and provided that there are no legal storage obligations to the contrary.
 
2.4 Customer account
 
When you open a customer account, you consent to your inventory data (name, address, e-mail address, bank details) and your usage data (user name, password) being stored. This allows us to identify you as a customer and enables you to manage your orders. We obtain the following consent:

Your data will be processed on the basis of your consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. a GDPR.
 
2.5 Purchase processing
 
We process your order data to process the purchase contract. The data is processed accordingly on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 s. 1 lit. b GDPR.
We transmit your address data to the company commissioned with the delivery. If it is necessary to process the contract, we also transmit your email address or your telephone number to the company commissioned with the delivery to coordinate a delivery date. We transmit your transaction data (name, date of order, payment method, date of dispatch and/or receipt, amount and payee, bank details or credit card details if applicable) to the payment service provider commissioned to process the payment.

2.6.2. Google Analytics
 
We use external dynamic content to optimize the presentation and offer of our website. When the website is visited, a request is automatically sent to the server of the respective content provider via API, during which certain log data (e.g. the user's IP address) is transmitted. The dynamic content is then transmitted to our website and displayed there. We use external content in connection with the following functionalities:

(4) This website uses Google Analytics with the extension “_anonymizeIp()”. This means that IP addresses are further processed in abbreviated form, so that they cannot be linked to a specific person. (5) We use Google Analytics to analyze and regularly improve the use of our website. We can use the statistics obtained to improve our offer and make it more interesting for you as a user. The personal data will be deleted or anonymized after 14 months at the latest.

3. Duration of data storage
 
We adhere to the principles of data minimization and data avoidance. We only store personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes for which it is processed or for as long as you have withdrawn your consent. Insofar as statutory retention obligations must be observed, the storage period for certain data may be up to 10 years, regardless of the processing purposes. Once these periods have expired and/or the respective purpose no longer applies, the corresponding data will be blocked or deleted in accordance with the statutory provisions.
