The Rewald GmbH
From 1996 I then concentrated on selling spare parts and founded Rewald GmbH. In the disposal company's workshops, it looked like only the current container supplier could deliver its spare parts. However, since most of them had bought their roll-off containers and skips from 10 to 20 different container suppliers who no longer existed or could not deliver, the workshop had to produce the required spare parts individually. A very time-consuming and costly undertaking. At that time, most container builders also did not have a spare parts catalogue, so that incorrect deliveries and misunderstandings occurred time and again when orders were placed.
With the appearance of the first catalog in 1996, workshops had the opportunity to order container spare parts according to their wishes for the first time. As well as being able to use the existing dimensions for custom-made products and no longer having to describe the desired parts on the phone. Since most of the parts were mass-produced, they could be offered at low prices, which was very well received by customers, since the parts were available quickly and there was no longer any need to produce individual parts yourself.
Garbage compactor parts got into the catalog because leading manufacturers had and still have delivery problems from time to time. There are still a few thousand garbage compactors on the market, but the manufacturers have been gone for over 10 years.
In 2012, Rewald GmbH merged with HZE Hebezeuge Eberswalde GmbH.
In 2012 we expanded the delivery program to include baling press parts, which we have been continuously expanding ever since. In the next few years we see our export focus here as well as the provision of baler spare parts from foreign manufacturers.
In 2012, the idea arose to fundamentally revise the locks and fittings on roll-off containers in order to achieve greater security, reduced costs and durability and to be able to change them quickly in the event of repairs. After many customer discussions, endurance tests of more than 2 years, DEKRA test and BG report, we can offer you 10 new container assemblies from 2016, which generate a high added value for every disposal company.
In 1999, own production was set up in Poland in order to open up the largest European market with 106 container builders as suppliers and to achieve better quality and flexibility for the German market. To date, the number of employees has increased to 36.
In 2002, the sales department was set up and since 2004, 5 sales representatives have been active in Germany. Together with our customers, we have included many new parts in the catalogue, developed them further and created new solutions via the field service.
From 2009, a sales representative was added in the BeNeLux countries. This successful concept has given us more than 2400 satisfied customers over the years.
The external technicians were replaced by a permanent technician and an engineer.
In 2015 we expanded our warehouse with a new building in Velten to 1500 square meters of storage space and in the future we will also be able to carry out more assembly work.
We will expand our production in Poland by the summer of this year with a new building of 1,000 square meters of production and storage space and 20,000 square meters of open space. We will invest heavily in new machinery to increase speed and productivity while avoiding cost increases. Tube and sheet metal lasers are then available, as well as CNC processing for turned and milled parts.
Rewald GmbH has been an ISO 9001 certified company since September 30, 2020.
